Hello my dear friends. I want to thank you all so much for the love, prayers and support you have given me during this trying time. I am grateful and humbled. The surgery on April 11^th went well with no complications and I spent only an overnight in the hospital. Since then, I have been home and recuperating. (Lorie’s taking very good care of me and I have strong pain meds!) (Thanks to Erin Mae for taking care of our cat, Louie, and for all her help after I got home)

Everything has gone pretty much the way the doctor said it would and I am doing well. I have kept in touch with my Mayo care team and will be going in for a post-op evaluation on the 19th. Just wanted everyone to know that I’m up and about and trying to keep myself busy while I still can’t do much else. Talking is uncomfortable so I’m just resting, reading and eating. Surprisingly, they put me on an almost regular diet right away.

I’ll keep you posted as they complete all the pathology and determine what is next for my treatment. Looking forward to getting back to singing and playing music again.

NOTE: Although Marina Munch Cantina has a casual atmosphere, the picnic-style tables along the waterfront are part of a private restaurant area offering seating for patrons of the food trucks and Cantina. As such, we would appreciate it if you would please not bring food and drinks from home or other establishments into the seating area.

The musicians are there to bring in business for the food trucks and Cantina. If you are coming to hear the performers and are not enthused about the fare provided by the food trucks, please dine elsewhere before or after the performance and support the Cantina while there.
